A special exhibition
Our model and miniature exhibition in Molsheim in 2024 will be something very special.
It will be fully integrated into the commemorations organised by the town of Molsheim for the 80th anniversary of its liberation on 26 November 1944. As a result, the duration and format will be different from what we usually organise.

Remembrance
The duty to remember is an important part of our objectives as defined in our articles of association. That’s why we’ve agreed to a specific organisation for these festivities and commemorations.
The theme of our commemorative exhibition
As our exhibition is part of the town of Molsheim’s festivities, the theme of the exhibition is compulsory: the liberation of Molsheim and, more broadly, the fighting in Alsace during the winter of 1944-1945. Exceptionally, no other subject will be accepted.

That still leaves plenty to do, in terms of vehicles, aircraft and miniatures, in the German, American and French armies.
The location of this commemorative exhibition
We’ve been holding our exhibitions in the magnificent Hôtel de la Monnaie in Molsheim since 2018. This will continue to be the case for Molsheim 2024, except that we will only be able to use the Caveau Coulaux (the large room where we usually hold our refreshment bar).
Because of the slightly smaller format, we’re going to be working on reorganising the room to allow everyone to exhibit. We will also have to restrict the space available to everyone. Finally, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank the town of Molsheim once again for its warm welcome and confidence.
The exhibition format
The exhibition will take place in several stages.
Firstly, the installation from Friday 22 November 2024.
This will be followed by an opening to the general public on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November 2024.
It will then open its doors to schoolchildren from Molsheim and the surrounding area on Monday 25 November 2024.
And finally, an opening for the general public on Tuesday 26 November 2024, the anniversary of the Liberation. With a parade of vintage vehicles, the civil and military authorities, …
Exceptionally, we will be revising the competition to a reduced, even simplified form. More information to follow here in the coming months.
Exhibitors
We are aware that not all exhibitors will be able to stay in Molsheim for 4 days. Nor that all model makers appreciate this period and this theme.
Nevertheless, we think that most of you will rise to the challenge, even if it means leaving your comfort zone and taking a few days off work, to honour those who contributed to the liberation of Molsheim and Alsace, sometimes to the ultimate price. To honour those who believe in the reconciliation of the German and French peoples.

For us modellers and miniature artists, November 2024 is tomorrow. So dig into your docs, the web, your stock… and help us meet the challenge! Even if you’re only available over the weekend.
Registrations
Registrations for exhibitors will be available soon. Don’t wait any longer to start working on the subject.
